Winter Break Workshop Ages 6-14

There’s something magical about spending Winter or Spring Break at The Wishing Star Theatre! Students will enjoy rotations in dance, voice, art and acting. Our final project will include a showcase of solo pieces, ensemble work and small skits. This is a great way to have an all encompassing experience, make new friends and have FUN!

Spring Break Workshop Ages: 6-14

Group Voice/Music Ages: 6-9

Day and Times: Saturdays 12:30-1:30
Session 1: Sept. 11-Oct 16th
This is an introductory course for young singers. The class will focus on the development of the young voice in the context of singing age appropriate songs. Students will work on ensemble pieces and solo songs while focusing on range, projection, movement, beginning ear-training, and fun!  Students will be required to practice outside of class and are encouraged to take this course multiple times.

 GROUP VOICE SESSION 2 Ages 6-9 years

Day and Times: Saturdays 12:30-1:30

Session 2: Oct 23rd-Dec 4 (No class Nov 27th)

 This is an introductory course for young singers. The class will focus on the development of the young voice in the context of singing age appropriate songs. Students will work on ensemble pieces and solo songs while focusing on range, projection, movement, beginning ear-training, and fun!  Students will be required to practice outside of class and are encouraged to take this course multiple times.

Private Voice Lessons

Tuition: $175/ pkg. of 6 (1/2 hr lessons)

Private 1/2 hr voice lessons are available in packages of 6 each. Once you pay your fee, we will set up an appointment for you and the voice instructor we feel best matches your needs to have a brief meeting. Appointments from there on will be made with your instructor. Please note: Private Voice lessons are meant to be taken on a continuous basis. Students benefit from weekly lessons and practice time in between. This is not meant to be an introduction to voice, but a specific training for the student who is serious about their craft.

Music Theory/Ear Training Ages 11-16

Session 1: Sept. 11-Oct 16th

Come learn the basics of music theory through this fun class designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of reading and composing music. This is a great introduction to music theory and ear training and is ideal for students looking to take high school music theory classes, audition for choirs, or prepare for solo & ensemble. Topics include scales, note recognition, musical terminology, triads, and intervals.
