Mission Statement
The Theatre Arts Academy at The Wishing Star Theatre, is a place that young actors can explore the performing arts in a safe, non-competitive environment. The academy is a place for children to enhance their knowledge of the arts, explore their creativity and express themselves freely on stage. The Theatre Arts Academy is not focused on training children for Broadway or Hollywood. Our focus is on building self-confidence, having fun and giving children a sense of accomplishment.

Our classes are taught by professional theatre educators, actors and performers all currently working in the Chicagoland area. Class schedules vary from session to session so check back often for current course availability.
